You would need to download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your IOS or Android app store depending on the phone you are using. You can either search for the app on the App store or Google Store or go to the following link and find the correct download link:
Microsoft Mobile Phone Authenticator App | Microsoft Security
After downloading the app, please open the app and add an account. Choose "Work or school". You can also follow the guide through the login website.
At this point, you have to scan the QR code inside the app to register authenticator to your phone.
Note: you should not use your phone's default camera app to scan the code, the QR code needs to be scanned through the Microsoft Authenticator App or it won't work. Below is a aample photo of scanning taken on IOS phone:
You can scan the QR code on the app or if you can't scan the image you can click on "Can't scan image" button and enter the code manually. In most cases you shouldn't need to enter the code manually, and scanning the image would work fine.
After scanning and pressing next, you'll receive a prompt on your phone to verify the setup. Enter the number on your phone and you're good to go.
Finally, you'll be able to log in to weavr. You may need to use the authenticator if you log out from your Microsoft account, or if you log in from another device.
Since the authenticator app uses Face ID or fingerprint scanner, it's much more secure than traditional multifactor authentications such as Email or SMS notification.
